Is this a Segway Tour with Santa?

When should I reserve?
Our Santa Visit is very popular. We recommend booking as soon as possible.
When do I need to arrive?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. Santa visits will start at their scheduled start time. Guests who do not arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time will not be able to participate so as not to disrupt the children already present and you will forfeit payment. So plan ahead by checking traffic, know your route, etc!
What should I bring?
Dress warm, as we will be heading out to Millennium Park for great photos with Santa about half-way through your visit. And bring your camera for great photos!
Do you take photos?
Parents prefer taking photos with their own cameras to edit, email, and reprint as they see fit. So we do not take photos. But we would be happy to take pictures using your camera, if you want to get into the photo, as well!
Is this indoors or outdoors?
Both. This is primarily an indoor experience, with the exception of the family photo shoot. Santa’s Den is cozy so seating during the experience will be limited to the participating children. A few chairs will also be available for the elderly. Note that if you bring a stroller, it will be stored in the lobby. We will conduct Santa Visits regardless of weather, so dress warm.
Do you ever cancel because of weather?
The experience will be adjusted if extreme weather conditions are reported by the National Weather service. That rarely happens, so please be dressed and prepared for a short walk outside on the day of your experience, and wear comfortable shoes.
Are there any restrictions?
Those persons who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted to participate and a refund will not be issued. An adult must accompany anyone under the age of 18 years old.
How do I make a reservation?
Simply book online through our Book Now button or give us a call at 312-552-5100. All reservations require a credit card deposit.
Are group rates available?
Yes. Any group of 8 or more that desires to Visit Santa together is considered a private group and is subject to a private group service charge. If you wish to book a private experience with Santa or have questions, please call the office at 312-552-5100. We hope you’ll consider us for that family holiday special event!
Are adults charged a fee?
Yes. We have found that without it, we have parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles (you get the idea) of each child filling our intimate space that should be devoted to the children.
Should I tip?
Please do not tip Santa. This is Santa we’re talking about!
Where do we meet for the tour?
Our main Location at Millennium Park is 300 E Monroe Street. We are located in the southwest lobby of Lakeside Parking Garage under the new Maggie Daley Park. Take the stairs directly east of Columbus Drive on the north side of Monroe Street. Follow the orange signs. Note: Google Maps and Mapquest do not represent our location accurately!
Where should I park?
The entrance to our section of Millennium Garage is found only from Columbus Drive. Please do not enter on Michigan Avenue as that is a different garage and the vouchers which we offer are not valid. Enter the garage and proceed west to the Millennium Park side of the garage. Once past the entrance gates turn left, heading south to Monroe Street. Park on level 2. Please follow the orange Absolutely Chicago Segway Tour signs. We are located in the lobby of level 2 of the garage.
Call us with any questions at 312-552-5100. Discounted parking vouchers are available to our customers. Do not park in any garage other than the Millennium Park Garage as the vouchers are not valid in the Grant Park Garages or the East Monroe Garage.
Cancellation/Rain check policy
WE REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE NOTICE OF YOUR START TIME FOR ALL CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING (unless cancelled by ACGT). Any reservation that is canceled less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled start time is non-refundable and non-transferable. ALL CANCELLATIONS must be made either in person or with a customer service representative over the phone. E-mails and voice messages will not be accepted. ALL CANCELLATIONS are subject to an 8% processing cancellation fee (unless canceled by ACGT). All contracted private and group visits please defer to your contract for your agreed terms and conditions.
